With the Alternate Source Transfer Switch (ASTS) from ETC, light connections will switch to a secondary source if your normal power supply fails. ASTS provides an automatic connection to backup power, switching selected loads to backup if the main power fails. Lights turn on at full brightness, keeping your theater or assembly facility from going dark. Other loads maintain their power, so that operating functions are not compromised. When main power is restored, the backup lights return to their normal dimmed functioning. When you want reliable backup power for your facility lighting, ASTS gives you the security of UL Listing. ASTS is typically used for supplemental lighting in secondary egress lighting applications.
